The Police have paraded four members of the robbery gang that attacked two banks in Ikorodu last month.
According to Naij.com, their arrest resulted from the vigilance of Nigerian soldiers who intercepted one of the robbers at a checkpoint and found on him part of the loots from the banks.
The gang of armed robbers had attacked the banks in Ikorodu, a daredevil operation that sent shock waves across the state and beyond.
The soldiers, who were on a stop-and-search duty arrested the suspect while on his way to his home town in Okitikpupa, Ondo state.
The suspect was carrying in his bag, bundles of new N1000 notes with bank wrappers.
Being aware of the robbery incident in Lagos, the soldiers smelled a rat and detained him
and alerted the Lagos state police command.
The police immediately swooped into action, leading to the arrest of other members of the gang.
