Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s relationship has become strained again—and may even be at the point of breaking, People reports. Kardashian, a source told the outlet, has reached her limit with West, following the rapper’s latest tweet series (including a video of him urinating on his Grammy while tweeting about music ownership, which got him banned from Twitter for a day) and trouble privately.
Kardashian is “at the end of her rope—again,” the source stated, referencing the issues West and Kardashian had earlier this summer when West launched his campaign for president while in the middle of a manic episode. West has bipolar depression.
For context, during a July South Carolina campaign rally, West brought up the possibility of Kardashian divorcing him because he publicly spoke about how he and Kardashian discussed terminating her first pregnancy with North West during an anti-abortion rant. People reported around the time that the couple had been considering divorce privately for a “long time.”
“There has been enough communication, both in the past few days and in the weeks prior, to establish that both sides feel the marriage is over,” People‘s source said in July.
Then Kardashian and West went on an emergency trip to try to save their marriage. The relationship was okay initially, but a source tells People today that West didn’t uphold the promises he made to Kardashian while they were working things out.
“He’s off his meds,” the source claimed. “He promised he’d stay on them. The last time, part of his negotiation with Kim was that he’d get back on his medication and he would work very hard to control his impulses. He made a lot of promises. And now those promises are broken, less than a month later.”
