Lucky smiled lavishly on Enyimba FC on Wednesday as it qualified for the money-spinning group stages of the Champions League, after beating Etoile du Sahel 4-3 on penalties, at the Stade Olympique de Sousse on Wednesday.
The reigning Nigeria Professional Football League (NFPL) champions, who travelled with a 3-0 advantage, allowed Etoile to level the tie 3-3 in 90 minutes and it went straight to spot-kicks.
Enyimba saw their first two kicks saved, but Theophilus Afelokhai pulled off three consecutive saves, to ensure his team progressed.
The two-time winners of the competition, will now join ES Setif, AS Vita Club, Al Ahly, Zamalek, ASEC Mimosas, Wydad Casablanca and ZESCO United for the draws on May 26.
