A consumate writer and researcher Dr Jimanze Ego-Alowes is dead.
The news of the death of the cerebral scholar, who carried out many various reasearch efforts on often controversial topics, is all over the social media.
A reputable journalist Chido Nwakanma wrote on his Facebook wall:
“Jimanze Ego-Alowes. Shocking. How? Why? And why again? Lord have mercy.
Goodbye, brother. Goodbye, Renaissance man of great intellect.

Ago-Alowes reportedly died on Christmas day.
He maintained a column with The Sun newspaper which attracted many readership by his unique way of presenting his points.
Way back in 1997, he maintained a column called Business Unusual in the now defunct The Post Express newspaper.
He oowned a publishing company Stone Press Ltd, which published most of his works.
