The studio of Daar Communications Plc, owner of the African Independent Television and Ray Power FM, has been gutted by fire.
The fire incident occurred on Monday morning and was reported immediately after its early morning news magazine programme, “Kaakaki” at its Lagos Alagbado office.
It was not clear whether the incident was as a result electrical sparks or whether it was handiwork of criminals.
The inferno affected the morning programming from the Lagos office of the station as Ray Power could not air its 10am world news. Operatives of the fire service later contained it.
