Gov. Ngilari The new Governor of Adamawa State, Barrister Bala James Ngilari on Thursday dissolved the State Executive Council.
He also sacked with immediate effect all political appointees who were appointed by the former Acting Governor, Alhaji Ahmadu Fintiri, who was sacked by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday. The position of the governor was contained in a press release issued and signed by the chief of staff to the governor, Alhaji Chubado Tijjani.
The statement directed all the affected office holders to hand over all documents and other government properties to permanent secretaries in their various ministries. The affected appointees were less than three months old in office. However, thee sack did not affect the Heads of statutory commissions
