Accomplished writer cum journalist, Dimgba Igwe, is dead

Seasoned journalist and Vice Chairman of The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of The Sun titles, Pastor Dimgba Igwe is dead.
He died Saturday morning (today) morning when he was knocked down by a motor vehicle while jogging around his residence in the Okota area of Lagos.
Igwe who is a pencil-mark next door neighbor to his long time friend and former managing director of Sun, Mr. Mike Awonyinfa, sustained a fatal injury and was immediately taken to the hospital where he underwent surgical emergency. He died shortly.
He was aged 58 years.
Igwe and Awoyinfa were the brain behind the SUN titles, which they nurtured into a brand to be reckoned with before they moved up the promotion ladder.
