Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has completed a beautiful wirdhip centre for Christians located at the Government House in Enugu.
The vkvernor on Tuesday took Catholic bishops on an inspection of the newly constructed first ever Christian Chapel of Worship at the Government House.
According to the Special Assistant (Media) to the governor, Mr. LOUIS Amoke, the bishops were impressed by the magnificent edifice.
Amoke said in a statement, “This afternoon, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Calistus Chukwuma V. Onaga, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Nsukka, His Grace, Most Rev. Prof. Godfrey Igwebuike Onah and his counterpart in Awgu, Diocese, Most Rev. John Ifeanyichukwu Okoye, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, the Chaplain, Government House, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Chinedu Ozoude, among other priests, as well as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Development and Implementation, PDI, Engr. (Mrs.) Obiageli Abba, inspected the first ever Christian Chapel of Worship, at the Government House, Enugu, newly constructed and furnished to standard by the Ugwuanyi administration.
“It was indeed an amazing experience for the Bishops who profusely commended Ugwuanyi and expressed delight at the quality of the Chapel and facilities in it.”
