UMUAHIA—AHEAD of 2015 governorship election in Abia State, the state chapter of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has inaugurated an 11-member State Congress Committee to elect adhoc delegates for the governorship primaries billed for November 29, 2014.
The Committee is headed by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, while the party’s Legal Adviser; Chief Gab Igboko, will serve as Secretary.
Other members are the former Secretary to the Abia State Government, Mazi Donatus Okorie, former PDP Chairman, Chief Ndiidi Okereke, the state’s Administrative Secretary of the party, Mr. Uzodinma Ugele, the PDP Deputy Chairman, Chief Allen Nwachukwu. Also in the committee are Allen Nwachukwu, Tony Ezebuiro, Chika Obike, Chijioke Nwakodo, Mrs. Ngozi Eruba and Obi Chimaobi
