Nollywood actress Lilian Esoro has denied being engaged to Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) executive, Ubi Franklin, Pulse reported.
The actress is said to have made the denial via her Blackberry Messenger (BBM) account, according to YNaija.
“Please ooooo, stop the congratulatory messages, I am NOT yet engaged, thanks,” Lilian reportedly said on her status message.
The engagement had earlier been announced by Freda Francis, a friend of the couple, via Instagram but she eventually took down the post.
Ubi is the manager of music act, Iyanya and has a number of stars under his record label including Tekno Miles, Emma Nyra and Selebobo.
It’s surprising to note that none of Ubi’s or Lilian’s other friends or associates spoke about the supposed engagement via their various social media accounts.
Rumours have it that Lilian was not too pleased with the engagement and was cornered into saying “Yes” because the proposal was a public one.
Efforts to reach both parties have proved abortive.
