Lt. Col Adeboye Obasanjo, son of former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo is recuperating at the Federal Medical Centre in Yola, capital of Adamawa state.
He was injured yesterday during an ambush by Boko Haram forces near Bazza town in Michika local council. Twenty four soldiers were killed instantly by the insurgents.
Adamawa Acting Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, who visited Adeboye in hospital today commended officers and men of the Nigerian Army for their effort in containing insurgency in the state.
Fintiri was received at the hospital by the Chief Medical Director, Dr Aliyu Danburam, who said younger Obasanjo was in stable condition.
