Ahead of 2015 general election, natives of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Southrn Kaduna have vowed never to sell their votes in 2015.
They said under no condition would they be deceived to sell their votes during the elections to desperate and self centred politicians, who have nothing to offer the masses.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) chairman of the local government, Mr Alphosius Shinkut stated this on Thursday, when the party received on consultation and support driven mission of Alhaji Salihu Mohammed Lukman, who is aspiring to be governor of Kaduna State, on the APC platform.
According to the local government party chair, “we are tired of unfulfilled promises by politicians, particularly those who feel they can buy us over by their money.
“Let it be known that our votes are not for sale or for the highest bidder, we will support any aspirant, who have the feelings and interest of the masses at heart and not selfish and self centred politicians.”
“We the people of Zangon Kataf want to assure you that we are solidly behind you and will by the grace of God give you our support when the time comes.
“You have shown us that you are with us and we are sure you will not forget your home, Zangon Kataf, where you started your education career, we wish you well and we are saying you can always count on our support, during the primaries and during the election if you emerge victorious at the primaries.”
