Uyo goes agog for Jonathan

Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, is wearing a new look and other logistics preparations are in top gear in readiness for President Goodluck Jonathan’s PDP presidential campaign rally in the state tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Akwa Ibom State Council, have resolved to ensure that “workers in the state will come out in full force and attend the presidential rally” tomorrow.
The resolution to this effect was unanimously reached at its 5th Akwa Ibom State Labour Summit held today in Uyo.
The campaign rally is scheduled to hold at the new Akwa Ibom State International Stadium (The Nest of Champions), Uyo by 2pm.
