The Rivers State Election Tribunal has nullified the election of Nyesom Wike as the governor of the state in the April 11 governorship election.
The tribunal ordered that INEC should hold fresh election in the state within 90 days according to the stipulation of the electoral act.
Report in the Channels Television indicate that the tribunal took the stance after finding the testimonies of Wike’s witnesses and thoses of the Independent Electoral Commission were successfully impugned by the petitioners.
