Top Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot, wins House of Assembly seat

Nollywood top actor, Desmond Olusola Elliot,  has won his bid to represent the people of Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bayo Smith.

Although the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) hasn’t officially announced the results yet, This is  tweets by the  actor-cum-politician are  already celebrating an impending victory at the polls.

Elliot,  who vied for a seat at the Lagos House of Assembly to represent Surulere Constituency 1, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress,  was celebrating with supporters in Surulere.
