This sanctimonious he-is-the-only-honest-man-in-Nigeria claptrap is a backhanded insult to the tens of millions of Nigerians who have had to live their whole lives blighted by the lopsided constitutional arrangements and absolute certitude of people like him who were cock-sure they knew better than the rest of Nigeria what was best for Nigeria. How does he propose to fight corruption? With military tribunals and retro-active decrees? Or something more civilised and intelligently thought out? Beyond the anti-corruption shibboleth what else does he propose to do to ‘move the nation forward’? Let’s hear it for chrissakes! That’s what we are here for. What’s the plan?
