Academics and other stakeholders will this Thursday converge on Lagos to discuss the effects of global warming in the country.
A non-governmental organistion, Enville Institute, is organising the seminar in which the Minister of Environment, Mrs. Lawrencia Laraba-Mallam, will declare the event open.
Also expected at the event are a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Oye Ibidapo-Obe, and a professor of Environmental Engineering and Science, University of Carolina, United States, Hillary Inyang.
Others are the Managing Director, Emel Advanced Power Solutions Limited, Mr. Roy Chatterjee, and the Director of Forestry, Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja, Mr. Salisu Dahiru.
