COACH Samson Siasia has invited 47 foreign-based players to the camp of the national U-23 men’s football team.
The golden boot winner in Under 17 World Cup tournament 2013 and Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, leads the pack of former members of the victorious Golden Eaglets team that also includes Isaac Success, Taiwo Awoniyi and Musa Yahaya, which head coach of the national U-23 team has invited.
Siasia invited 47 foreign based professionals to battle for a place in the Dream Team.
Invited players are expected to start arriving the Fifa Goal Project team camp from December 6, 2014. This is Siasia’s second stint in charge of the U23s. He led the team to winning silver at the Beijing Olympics Games and will be hoping to qualify the country for the All African Games and the 2016 Olympic Games.
