The Redeemed Christian Church of God has established a Centre for Disease Control as part of efforts to curtail the spread of coronavirus disease in the country.
The facility is said to fully fitted with equipment that can test and treat all kinds of viral diseases including Ebola, SARS, Lass fever, and any other similar diseases that might break out in the future.
Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the church Pastor Enoch Adeboye, confirmed the development in her Facebook wall:
“So as to contribute our own quota and not leave everything to government, on 25th March 2020 to the glory of God we commissioned RCCG Centre of Disease Control and Prevention at theRedemption Camp. It is my prayer that all patients that will use the Centre and God will be glorified in the name of Jesus.”
Pastor Adeboye has donated various sums of money and equipment running into hundreds of million to support the efforts of states and federal government in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
