It was an exciting momement for a Nigerian family living in Illinois, the United States of America when the newly sworn-in United States President, Joe Biden put a call through to them to thank them for their support.
Biden even extended an invitation to the White House to them.
Josephine, 12, and her father are from Ibadan, in Oyo state, Nigeria.
They spoke to both President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
Biden, during the call that lasted for 12-minutes, praised Josephine for her intelligence and even cracked jokes with her.
He also spoke to her father and asked where in Nigeria he’s from.
The president asked the girl and her father if their family would like to visit the White House.
The father enthusiastically answered in the affirmative. .
He said visiting the WH would be a special opportunity for the family.
Biden thanked them for their support towards having him elected as the 46th US president.
