A Nigerian Air Force aircraft crashed in Hong, Adamawa State on Saturday killing the pilot.
Director, Public Relations, Nigerian Airforce, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, said in a statement the same Saturday that the accident was linked to bad weather around Hong, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State at about 1623hrs (4.23 pm).
There was no survival as the pilot of the aircraft lost his life in the incident.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal SB Abubakar has set up an investigation panel to unravel the remote and immediate causers) of the accident.
Only the pilot is said to have died in the accident.

In August, a Dornier 228 light aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force had also crashed in Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria.
The aircraft was said to be on its way to Abuja after taking off from the Air Force Base in Kaduna when it crashed at the old site of the Nigerian Defence Academy less than ten minutes after it took off.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Sadique Abubakar said at the time that he had set up an investigation panel to look into the cause of the crash.
