The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday announced the dissolution of the Ondo State Executive Committee of the party.
Mr Olisa Metuh, the party`s National Publicity Secretary, announced the disolution in a statement in Abuja.
According to the statement, all structures of the party at the ward, local government and state levels stand dissolved.
“Consequently, a caretaker committee has been constituted to pilot the affairs of the state chapter of the party.
“The committee has Mr Dare Adeleke, as Chairman and Mr Dare Osawu, as Secretary,’’ it said.
Ith said that the NWC enjoined PDP members in Ondo state to continue to work together in harmony for the progress of the party.
The statement expressed confidence that the PDP would move more than ever before, dominate Ondo politics, especially with the rejoining of Gov. Olusegun Mimiko to its fold (NAN)
