The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has been suspended for six months by the Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers, The PUNCH reports.
According to the newspaper, the suspension of the controversial monarch became known on Friday after an emergency meeting of the OSCTR.
A committee headed by the Orangun of Ila, Oba Wahab Adedotun, was also constituted by the Council to further investigate the cause of the face-off between Akanbi and other monarchs in Iwoland.
The OSCTR met at the Osun State Government Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo.
