The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has said that the purpose of its ‘Do the Right Thing: Campus Focus’ programme is to impart positive attitudes in youths that will ensure the full development of their potentials while encouraging them to conform to those desirable values necessary for national development.
The Director General of the agency, Mr. Mike Omeri, stated this in Anambra State College of Agriculture, Mgbakwu yesterday where the agency held its re-orientation programme.
In his address delivered at the occasion by the Anambra State Director of NOA, Mr. Dan.M.Umeh, Omeri, said that the agency believes that the concept of youth engagement is increasingly apparent in international and national agenda, emphasizing the role of young people as resources that benefit and transform society.
“Additionally”, he continued, “this programme is geared towards broadening the space for dialogue between young people, policy-makers and the rest of society to promote meaningful engagement at different levels
