The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has honoured the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina with the Minister of the Year award. At a ceremony attended by dignitaries in the industry and government, Chief Dapo Odujirin, the immediate past president of the chamber, declared that, in choosing the awardees, “effort was painstaking and assignment done in a transparent manner.”
Adesina, who could not attend, was represented by the south-west regional director of the agriculture ministry, Mr. Lekan Quadri.
At the ceremony, pro-chancellor of Pan Atlantic University, Dr. Christopher Kolade, noted that NBCC members made valuable contribution to the economy and added value to the Nigerian-British economies.
