Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have continued to rise despite growing lethargy among Nigerians toeards the dreadful virus
The number of cases in Nigeria increased further on Thursday with 350 reported in the country, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
NCDC in report on its on Twitter handle late Thursday announced that the country’s total infections have risen to 11,516 out of which 3,535 have been discharged with 323 losing their lives.
Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 19 states and the FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 102 cases.

Unfortunately, many Nigerians are beginning to show less serious disposition to keeping safe. Some dismiss the pandemic as a hoax by government officials to create avenues of embezzling public funds while others just dismiss the virus as nothing more than malaria.
