Dream Team VI are through to the semi-finals of the Olympics after two goals downed their European opponents.
John Obi Mikel and Aminu Umar strikes sent Nigeria into the semi-finals of the Olympics at the expense of Denmark, as Samson Siasia’s side ran out 2-0 winners in Salvador.
The Nigerians will be facing Germany’s Under 23 team, which edged out Portugal to book a place at the semis.
The Nigerians who played very fast, purposeful and entertaining will however be without the services of their enterprising midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu who faces mandatory one match miss following his second yellow card of the tournament.
