The APC in Niger State has sympathised with the party’s presidential aspirant Sam Nda-Isaiah over the death of his father Pa Clement Nda-Isaiah who passed away on Wednesday.
In a statement by the publicity secretary of the party, Mr Jonathan Vatsa, yesterday lamented the death of the elder statesman came at the time that the presidential aspirant and indeed Nigerians needed his wise counsel for a better society.
The party said that the late Pa Nda-Isaiah had contributed a lot to media growth in Nigeria judging from his commitment to journalism practice in Nigeria, especially his days at the New Nigeria newspapers.
Vatsa noted in the statement that though he is gone, his legacies as a father, patriot, a thorough professional and statesman will continue to remain fresh in the minds of generations unborn.
The statement however urged his children to have comfort in the fact that his late father lived a purposeful life embodied in love for humanity.
The party in the state, therefore, prayed God to grant the late Pa Nda-Isaiah eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
