The Nigeria Football Federation has queried the U23 Eagles coach Samson Siasia over his media outburst against the Federation on Wednesday.
Siasia had publicly accused the NFF of owing him three months salaries, holding on to their bonus and abandoning his team with just a month to the Rio Olympics qualifying tournament in Senegal.
A member of the NFF told the Punch correspondent that the action of Siasia could get him fired in some other places.
He said, “Siasia is now a manager and not a player which he should understand. The change in the banking policy of the government using single treasury account has changed a lot of things and the process of getting out funds takes quite a tighter route. It is not just the NFF. There’s a supervisory ministry and the problem also affects other federations.
“What he has done is highly embarrassing.”
The CAF U23 Nations Cup/Olympic qualifier will hold in Senegal from November 28.
