Head of protocol, Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Abubakar, was on Wednesday shot dead by some suspected armed robbers at his Abuja residence.
The NFF via its twitter handle, @thenff, said the Kaduna-born football administrator is being conveyed to his hometown of Kaduna, where he would be buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
“NFF’s Head of Protocol Ibrahim Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers in his house in Abuja in the early hours of today.”
