MOUNT HOPE, N.Y. – Authorities say they’re looking for two suspects in connection with the shooting of a New York City man just minutes after he had been released from an upstate prison.
Police say the 33-year-old ex-convict was shot around in the Orange County town of Mount Hope around 10 a.m. Thursday, about 15 minutes after being released from the medium-security prison in nearby Otisville.

Officials say two men were spotted fleeing the scene in a car with Illinois plates.
Police say the man had intended to take a train back to Manhattan but was offered a ride at the last minute.
