Mr. Daniel Kayode has been appointed as the Auditor-General in Ekiti state.
According to a source and the statement by the Head of Service of the state, Dr. Olugbenga Faseluka, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Kayode, who was born on December 12, 1960, joined the Civil Service of the old Ondo State as an Auditor II on January 12, 1987 and had in the past served in different capacities including holding the position of Director (Audit) in the Auditor-General’s office.
He had also occupied the office of Auditor-General of the state in acting capacity since August 2014 when his predecessor retired from office.
He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Jos holds some professional qualifications including that of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria as well as member of Institute of Costs and Management Accountants
