Chelsea are ahead of Manchester United in a pursuit for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele after personal terms were agreed, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry. Dembele is being lined up for a January return to England with Express Sport understanding Chelsea are keen on signing the former Celtic and Fulham front man.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the Lyon striker with le10sportpreviously claiming that both sides are interested in the former Celtic forward.
However, according to The Transfer Windowpodcast, Dembele has agreed personal terms with Chelsea over a January move.
Regardless, the Blues must still come to an agreement on a transfer fee with the Ligue 1 side.
However, Lyon look unlikely to sanction a sale given president Jean-Michel Aulas’ comments.
