The youngest son of the late Michael Jackson is changing his name after he was bullied for years.
According to Radar Online, Blanket Jackson, 13, informally changed his name to Bigi before entering middle school. Born Michael Jackson Jr., the teen hated being bullied because he was called Blanket.
When entering his new school, he told his classmates his name was Bigi.
Sources say he thought the name Blanket “sounded so stupid” and resented his father for giving him the nickname.
“School mates have been slightly mean to him because of their jealousy over who he is and going by Blanket made him a much easier target for ridicule,” Radar Online reports.
