Manchester City super kid Kelechi Iheanacho has been offered £40,000 (N17 million) a week deal to keep him at the Etihad Stadium next season.
The Nigerian starlet ended the recent campaign with 14 goals in just 10 starts, being heralded back in his homeland as a result.
The 19-year-old is due to speak with incoming boss, Pep Guardiola, in the coming days, with City insiders insisting the youngster will receive even more chances to impress next year.
Iheanacho is however adamant he will continue to keep his feet on the ground and not let his burgeoning reputation at the Etihad Stadium divert his primary focus.
He said: “I don’t know anyone who is playing who doesn’t want to keep improving and be at the top level.
“I don’t know if I will end up being a top player or not – I’ll be working hard to achieve that and I wouldn’t complain if that happened! I just have to keep going and see where it takes me.
“So much has happened in the past few years and it is difficult to take in. If you start thinking about being here one moment and there the next, your brain would get overloaded and your head would be spinning so it’s best not to think about it too much.
