The best player in the world is Lionel Messi and not Cristiano Ronaldo, according to many important soccer coaches.
A vote taken by professional soccer coaches in Brazil’s top flight resulted in the Barcelona star being picked as the world’s best, according to The Mirror.
Messi got 14 votes, Ronaldo got 5, and one coach was unable to pick between the two.
Not the most surprising result, as it seems that the majority of soccer fans favor Messi over Ronaldo. But what about poor Neymar? Now, he isn’t at the level of Messi or Ronaldo (yet), but Brazilian coaches didn’t go with their fellow countryman? After all, Roberto Carlos thinks Neymar is the best.
