Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire
Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, has asked members of the public to discountenanc any e-mail messages in her name soliciting for financial assistance.
According to the deputy governor, some fraudulent e-mail messages were soliciting for financial assistance from those on her mailing list.
Her Special Assistant on Media, Mr. ‘Tunde Abatan, said in statement on Monday, said that “while the deputy governor is aware of this development and has alerted relevant security agencies, it is pertinent to remind the general public, especially those who are yet to receive such e-mails that the deputy governor does not operate any email that is addressed as jokeadefuliire@yahoo.com (kindly note the ‘double i’ in the address) and any e-mail from this address or any other purportedly seeking assistance on behalf of the deputy governor should be ignored.”
