According to him, the party mandated the committee to clear delegates from each of the 34 local government areas of the state for the election.
‘’The party has made an arrangement for conveying the cleared delegates from each of the three senatorial zones to the election venue.
‘’All the delegates were given identification cards for easy access into the venue as there is tight security around the venue.
‘’We are determined to conduct a free, fair and just primary election that will be acceptable to all,’’ he said.
He said that eight candidates would contest for the gubernatorial primary.
Aderibigbe also said that 100 aspirants contested for the state House of Assembly primary election conducted on Wednesday.
He added that 34 persons were elected as the party’s flag bearers in their respective constituencies in the state.
