The Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the last Saturday’s Presidential election, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Taraba and Edo States.
Jonathan scored 286,869 votes in Edo State to beat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, who scored 208,469 votes.
In Taraba State, Jonathan scored 310,800 votes, while Buhari coasted home with 261,326 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission is on the final collation ahead of the deflation of the Saturday poll.
Three states of Sokoto, Delta and Borno were still outstanding, but there are celebrations in some parts of Lagos by some APC faithfuls.
