The National Results Collation Centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja has officially released results from eights states and the FCT so far.
The Chairman of the commission, Prof Attahiru Jega, announced that he was going on break to reconvene by 8 pm. He said that break was necessary to allow more results to come in from the states.
The states whose results have been released so far are : Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, , Kogi, Enugu, Nasarawa and FCT.
According to him, results from 18 more states have been collated and the Returning Officers on their way to Abuja. Consequently, he announced that they will reconvene by 8.00 pm to take the remaining states.
