A hunchback Mr. Suberu Dada, of Obeiba Ihima, Okehi LGA, Kogi State, who was abducted by unknown men two weeks ago has been found dead.
His decaying body was found today, Dec 8, at Iruvochinomi, Ege, Adavi LGA in Kogi state.
Bodedolu Reports wrote that Kogi politician, Natasha Akpoti had taken to Facebook two days after his kidnap to share a “missing person” post, begging the public to reach out if they had information that could lead to his rescue.
She explained at the time that he was “abducted by gunmen in a black SUV while waiting to cross the road leading to Oride mosque, beside St. Paul’s Church Obeiba, Ihima.”
Dada’s abduction and eventual death has all the hallmarks of ritual killing.
Hunchbacks have been a target of ritualists who are said to hold the belief that the hunch is potent in money rituals.
The Rainbow was unable to get police confirmation before press time.
