A Texas teen is strutting into the Guinness World Records as both the woman and the teenager with the world’s longest legs.
Maci Currin is 17 years old and stands at 6 feet, 10 inches. Her left leg is 53.255 inches long, while her right is 52.874 inches long. In fact, her legs make up 60 percent of her total height, according to Guinness.
“You don’t really fit into the category of ‘normal,’” Currin told Guinness. “You’re unique, you have something different, and people are drawn to it.”
Currin’s father is 6 foot, 5 inches and her brother is 6 foot, 4 inches. But the teen told Guinness that she never had a growth spurt, instead, she grew around 4 to 5 inches each year.
“I was never bullied for my legs… I was bullied because I was taller than everyone,” Currin told Guinness. “Around sophomore year I just stopped caring what people thought of me and once I just stopped caring I wasn’t affected by anything.”
Luckily, Currin was able to find her voice on TikTokwhere she has 1.7 million followers. However, the world isn’t exactly made for its tallest citizens. She does have a few everyday struggles.
