Rivers State Government under Governor Nyesom Wike completed 42 roads in three months.
According to Wike, 30 other roads were nearing completion.
The governor, who spoke in Port Harcourt while conducting Journalists round some of the completed roads, said that his
administration was determined to touch lives positively.
Wike noted that the previous administration abandoned governance, and allowed the state to deteriorate.
Promising to lead a prosperous Rivers, he said that the essence of governance was to put viable infrastructure in place aimed at strengthening the economy.
The governor who led journalists to Abuloma/Woji road under
construction, said when completed, the road would reduce traffic along Aba road.
Wike promised to put durable infrastructure in place that would put
the state back on the part of progress.
Some of the roads visited were Ahoada Street, Creek road, Borokiri
road and Nkpogu road bridge, among others.
