Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has announced the dissolution of the Governing Council of the Enugu State College of Education (Technical) and the state Post Primary School Management Board (PPSMB).
Notably, a two-time minister in the past Peoples Democratic Party administration Mrs Fidelia Njeze re-emerged as Chairmn of the Governing Council of the Enugu State College of Education (Technical).
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Gabriel Ajah, on Thursday in Enugu, said that the dissolution was to allow for effective management of the affected institutions.
It said that the governor also approved the reconstitution of the PPSMB with effect from Oct. 9, with Mr Nestor Ezeme as its new Chairman.
It said that Mrs Favour Ugwuanyi was appointed the Permanent Secretary of the board, while Mr Obi Kama and Mr Clement Inyaba were appointed as members.
The statement also said that Mrs Veronica Ezeugwu, and Mrs Obiageli Igwesi were appointed part-time members of the board.
It said that Mrs Fidelia Njeze was appointed Chairman, Governing Council of the State College of Education (Technical) with effect from Oct. 9.
Other members of the board include; Mr Mathew Agu, Mr Emeka Nwatu, Prof. Tagbo Ugwu, and Mr Ben. Ezeugwu.
