Just four years ago, Kayode Fayemi was the alpha and omega of Ekiti State. His words were laws and his actions whether good or bad were praised.
He began well but suddenly became a lord to all, creating enemies for himself. After all he is the governor. Then the blunder came, he was advised to sell the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital. I questioned him yet he denied. I went undercover and brought out documents showing that he had signed the a…greement already to sell some departments.
He became too westernized and forgot that power is transient and ephemeral. Today marks his last day in office and he must be looking back now to see if those who praised him are still with him today. In all the years he reigned, only a handful of us and Lere Olayinka II that were his critics.
As Fayose mount the saddle tomorrow, I hope he learn the lessons of Fayemi even though this is his last term in office. Juju wey dey go home dey tear clothes. Let him go home well as he has more enemies and critics of non Ekiti and he has to prove them wrong. Let the new king reign
