SB Ation reports that Chelsea has agreed personal terms with Ghanaian star Baba Rahman just as Filipe Luís out reunite his Atletico compatriots having come from two seasons ago.
According to the sports news portal, SB Nation, Baba Rahman in has been the story for about a week. While there’s been plenty of official words about the former, there hasn’t been much concrete talk about the latter. But, most of the rumors would have the young left back signing with Chelsea, after either snubbing or still waiting for Roma to make a move (some say there’s been an ultimatum, even; some say Roma are close to signing Adriano from Barcelona instead).
In any case, the Oracle has chimed in a few hours ago as well, and he claims that personal terms are done.
Mourinho’s club has a meeting scheduled on Monday with Ausgburg to complete the deal for Baba. Chelsea already reached an agreement with the player on a 5 year deal worth €2 million net a season.

the news portal reports further, “Two million euros sounds like a hefty amount, but it translates to less than £30k a week. They’re talking net, however, so let’s double that number to account for taxes, which gives us roughly £55-60k per week for the 21-year-old. It’s not the cheapest, but obviously we can afford it and by all accounts, Baba is pretty good at his job and should only get better.
“With Augsburg apparently holding out for over €20m, this won’t be a steal of Azpilicueta-n proportions. We shouldn’t expect to pull something like that off when we have an obvious need to fill and fill quickly. It’s a seller’s market, so we pay up.”
