Nigeria has lost another former Super Eagles player in the person of Ajibade Babalade.
The former Super Eagles and 3SC defender Ajibade Babalade is confirmed to have passed away of cardiac arrest in Ibadan on Friday.
He was aged 48.
About four years ago, the former Super Eagles skipper and later coach Stephen Keshi died also of cardiac arrest.
Goal reports that Babalade was the team manager of Nigeria National League outfit Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC).
Babalade played for the Nigeria national team in the 90s and he was part of the team that won bronze at the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal.
He famous in the the domestic league where he played Stationery Stores, Heartland FC and Shooting Stars FC during his playing career.
