The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday a public holiday in Nigeria to mark the Eid-al Fitr celebration. The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who announced it through a statement on Thursday, expressed his felicitation with all Muslim faithful for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. The Minister urged the Muslim faithful to replicate the life of kindness, love, tolerance, peace and good neighbourliness, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
