The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday night released former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro,from it custody.
Obanikoro had in with the anti-graft agency where he answered questions over his involvement in the spending of N4.7 billion released in 2014 by the Office of the National Security Adviser, then occupied by retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki.
The former minister’s release was confirmed by his spokesman, Jonathan Eze.
Eze said Obanikoro was in good health, adding: “We thank all his friends and followers who supported him in prayers and supplication among others. God bless you all.”
