Obviously worried by the raid of the Government House by the officials of the Department of State Service (DSS), the Governor of Akwa Ibom Statae, Udom Emmanuel met with all security chiefs in the state.
A Government House source, who preferred not to be named because he was not authorised to speak on the development, said the governor at the meeting which lasted for over two hours, expressed sadness over the conduct of the security operatives during the invasion of the government house.
The source said: “The governor was not happy over the development. He told the head of the DSS in the state that there was no way such invasion would have taken place without his knowledge.”
